Drippy
Drippy is the official mascot of Drip Coffee Bar in Boone, created in 2024 as a fun, versatile brand character to support social media, merchandise, and in-store promotions. I was brought on as both a barista and a graphic designer to develop Drippy and illustrate his various forms. To date, five Drippy designs have been turned into stickers, with T-shirts in production. Drippy's evolving story keeps customers engaged, bridging print, digital, and physical brand experiences.
The idea has grown into a major theme within the business and the branding. People now wait for merch and sticker drops. The stickers are a way to advertise and have been placed all over not only Boone, NC, but many customers take the stickers and place them in their hometowns. The business visibility has grown greatly between a combination of the fun characters created and the advertisements that I design being placed in local magazines, newspapers, and social media sites.
